How do I Install and Update the Patient Cloud App for Android?

ISSUE:

As a user I would like to install, update, and or/uninstall the Patient Cloud app on my Android device.  

Self-Help:

  1. To install the Patient Cloud App, navigate to the Play Store, type the name of the app in the search box, select it and press Install.

     2.  To update the Patient Cloud App, navigate to the Play Store, type the name of the
          app in the search box and select the app. If you see the option “Open” – the application is up-to-                 date. If "Open" does not appear you will see the “Update” option instead.

3.To uninstall the Patient Cloud App, navigate to the Play Store, type the name of the app in the search box, select the app and press 'UNINSTALL'.

4.The Patient Cloud App requires Anrdoid 4.1 OS or later. In order to check which version of the Android OS is currently installed, proceed with the steps below:

Navigate to the Settings icon from the main menu:

As shown above, if the Android version is 4.1 or above – no update is required.

5.If an update is required, Select “System updates” in order to update the Android OS to a compatible            version.

6. If update is required, ensure that the Android device is plugged into a power source via the USB cable and that it is connected to the Internet. Once the update begins, stand-by until it completes.
