Issue:
As a user, I would like to install, update, and or/uninstall the Patient Cloud app on my Android device.
Self-Help:
- To install the Patient Cloud App, navigate to the Play Store, type the name of the app in the search box, select it and press Install.
- To update the Patient Cloud App, navigate to the Play Store, type the name of the app in the search box and select the app.
- If you see the option “Open” – the application is up-to-date.
- If "Open" does not appear you will see the “Update” option instead.
- To uninstall the Patient Cloud App, navigate to the Play Store, type the name of the app in the search box, select the app and press 'UNINSTALL'.
- The Patient Cloud App requires Anrdoid 4.1 OS or later. In order to check which version of the Android OS is currently installed, proceed with the steps below:
- Navigate to the Settings icon from the main menu:
- As shown above, if the Android version is 4.1 or above – no update is required.
- If an update is required, Select “System updates” in order to update the Android OS to a compatible version.
- If an update is required, ensure that the Android device is plugged into a power source via the USB cable and that it is connected to the Internet. Once the update begins, stand-by until it completes.
