Managing AE Titles

The InteleGRID Director service and AE Titles are managed within the 'Integration Options' section of the InteleGRID. 

To navigate to Integration Options click on Configuration->Integration Options

AE Titles are managed in the 'PACS & DICOM' section of Integration Options.

Creating a Sending AE Title

• Sending AE Titles are used by the InteleGRID to send images to your PACS/Modality. Setup a sending AE title if you want to get studies/exams from the InteleGRID to your site.
• In the PACS & DICOM section of Integration Options 'click here' to add a Sending AE Title
• Use the dropdown to select which Director node this AE Title will be associate with.  If you have not created a Director please reference the Creating a Director Node and Installing the InteleGRID Director
• Enter your PACS/Modality information
• Calling AE Title- InteleGRID AE Title
• Called AE Title- Your PACS/Modality AE Title
• Host Name/IP Address- Your PACS/Modality IP Address
• DICOM TCP Port- Listening port of PACS/Modality

• Once all information is added click 'Save AE'

Creating a Receiving AE Title

• Receiving AE Titles are used by the InteleGRID to receive images from your PACS/Modality. Setup a receiving AE title if you want to get studies/exams from your site to the InteleGRID.
• In the PACS & DICOM section of Integration Options 'click here' to add a Receiving AE Title
• Enter an AE Title- Please note this AE Title will need to be added to your PACS with the IP address and DICOM port of your Director
• Action- Do you want the InteleGRID to create a case for every study pushed from your PACS/Modality, Do you want the InteleGRID to lump all studies with matching MRN numbers into one case, or do you want the study to be added to your InteleGRID account allowing you to manually add the study to an existing case?
• Access Group- Who will have access to edit this AE Title in the future?

• Click 'Save AE'

Creating a Query AE Title

• Query/Retrieve is used by InteleGRID to query your PACS/Modality from inside the program. Setup query/retrieve if you want to be able to search your PACS/Modality and move images to your account
• Please note- you must first add a receiving AE title before you can configure query retrieve
• In the PACS & DICOM section of Integration Options 'click here' to set up Query/Retrieve
• Calling AE Title- InteleGRID AE Title
• Called AE Title- Your PACS/Modality AE Title
• Host Name/IP Address- Your PACS/Modality IP Address
• DICOM TCP Port- Listening port of PACS/Modality
• Select which Receiving AE Title will be used

Click 'Save Query/Retrieve'.
